It's National Almond Day❗

Today we pay homage to one of the most delicious, versatile and healthful nuts.

The Almond!

According to nationaldaycalendar.com, "whether you are eating them by themselves or using them for milk, pasta, flour, butter, oil, or meal. Almonds offer a delicious flavor along with many health benefits. They are one of the most heart-healthy foods hands down on the market today packed with vitamin E, magnesium and fiber. "

In honor of today, here's a few ways you can pay homage:

📍Share almonds with others

📍Have an almond roasting party and taste all the different flavors. Which is your favorite? Toasted, smoked, spicy, or sweet?

Your Friendly Pampered Chef Tip:

Raw nuts give you a crunchy exterior and a softer inside. If you don’t have raw nuts, you can use roasted nuts, but they will be a bit crunchier.

If the nuts reach the edge of the Electric Pop & Stir or clump too much, use a rubber spatula to push them back to the center of the plate.
